About the barn
The Environmental Learning Barn, the focal point of the Reserve, is a barn that dates back to 1879. It has been relocated and reconstructed and now serves as the Environmental Learning Center for the Reserve.
The barn is carefully situated to enhance the property and was reconstructed using 99% of its original barn materials. The barn features two large open areas, animals, exhibits, a library with comfortable seating, educational resources that can be borrowed, handicapped-accessible restrooms, wireless internet, projectors, screens, laptops, and wireless microphones. |

Reserve Rentals: Groups that are eligible to utilize this unique backdrop include Saint Vincent College Community Groups, organized clubs or special interest groups that have been granted IRS Code 501(c)(3) non profit status with open membership, or other public or private civic, cultural, educational, charitable or political groups.
THE SPACE IS RENTED DURING OPERATING HOURS ONLY Tuesday—Friday 10:00am—4:00pm & select Saturdays All rental fees must include set up and clean up time. BARN OWL GIFT CORNER
The Barn Owl Gift Corner has products from local artisans, nature discovery items, jewelry, apparel, field equipment, and books. All proceeds benefit nature programming at WPNR. If you're a local artisan, we're always looking to add nature inspired gifts and merchandise to our store.
