Project WET Workshop
Time:9AM - 4PM
Project WET is a curriculum of activities developed, field-tested, and reviewed by educators and resource managers working with thousands of students and adults nationwide. Project WET activities are designed for use by both formal and non-formal educators, with many of the activities already aligned to current national and state standards.
Register at www.wpnr.org: $60.00 per person includes lunch and curriculum guide. ACT 48 Credits available

Family Story Time
This summer, the Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve at Saint Vincent College will host a Family Story Time for families with children of all ages!
WPNR staff will read a nature story in the Learning Center Barn and families can head outside to explore the Nature Reserve grounds to explore the many stations found around the Reserve while completing a scavenger hunt for a special prize! Each month, the story will begin promptly at 10:30 am and families will have all day to explore the Reserve grounds and complete the scavenger hunt!
There is no limit on the number of participating family members and children and adults of all ages are welcome!

Nature play hour for children ages 2-4 with an adult. Will include a nature hike or outside activity (weather permitting), two interactive activities or experiments, a craft, and a story.

Family Naure Experience: Beautiful Butterflies
Time:10AM - Noon
Do you know the difference between a moth and a butterfly? Can you identify backyard butterflies? Come explore the life cycle of these fascinating insects, take a butterfly hike, and more with Reserve staff.
